About Me

So what's "the buzz" ? The Buzz is a power trio based in Saint John, New Brunswick. We began rehearsing the show in early October and played our first official gig at Melvin's on Friday, November 10. Wicked time!!! Since then we have played numerous events such as Skate to Care at Harbour Station 2007, Atlantic Baloon Fiesta 2007, and dates at local clubs such as Club Monte Carlo, Melvin's , and many others!

Kickin' out the music of popular bands and legends such as Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, The Tragically Hip, ZZTop, Stevie Wonder, Georgia Satellites, Bob Seger, Pink Floyd, Eddie Rabbit, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many others. Our songlist is extensive, and we tailor our music to the crowds at our shows. We want to keep you on the dance floor!

The Buzz has some dinosaur rockers with ties to several successful Saint John bands over the years. Brian McRae pounds out the crunchy, bluesy, Page-like leads through his Les Paul/Marshall setup. Glen Miller, percussionist extraordinaire, knows how to push and pull the music in all the right places: He gets in his own special groove known as "Miller Time." Kevin Legault revs up the vocals and rips on the bass to fill out the sonic foundation.

We are proud to be a part of the Saint John music scene and thank all of the local musicians and music lovers who continue to support our efforts.

Don't forget to spread the word: Catch "The Buzz" - coming live to you!!!

Please email us at [email protected] We would love to hear from you!
