About Me

Have been playing since 92, played trumpet all through school, but got hooked on bass through a friend of mine's cousin, who was from Washington, Chuck Keller, and man can he play! SO. started playing with some friends around town, and went to college and hooked up with some dead head jammers, which was great for working on endurance playing, cuz those jams are LONG!! Decided to go to music school in Minneapolis, Music Tech, in 97, same year as my first daughter was born! Went to school for a couple of years, studied with Terry Burns, Anthony Cox, and the late Dan Breeze. Graduated and got a couple of diplomas and worked at a music store and gigged on weekends and a few week nights. Subbed at a theater show in town for a few years, Tony 'n Tina's Wedding at the Hey City theater, that was very fun, worked up the reading chops. Have been playing at church for a very long time, and very much enjoy doing that, which is the least I could do with this talent I've been given from God. My main passion is playing worship music, any of it! Playing for the Lord is AWESOME, and love all the great people I've come into contact with! Albuquerque is proving to be a great place to connect with these blessed musicians! Praise God! Here's my other regular MySpace site CRAZYBASSKEL
