I play guitar. Been playing for as long as I can remember, mostly improvised music, started out playing anything, like; piano, guitar, ukulele, tennis rackets, cans, flutes etc. Later on in my teens I begun taking guitar lessons and wanted to play blues, which led to searching for jazz and ended up finding ‘free’ improvised music, which led to what I'm currently doing. During the past 11 years or so, I've also been playing European/American folksongs and bluegrass/country on my spare time. I enjoy playing with different people and in different projects and bands. Recently with David Stackenäs, Hal Rammel, Gary Verkade, Steve Nelson-Raney, Michael Zerang and others, both in Sweden and the U.S. When not enjoying music I like diving, riding my bike in the woods, and meeting good people
(The music here is sort of a side project for me. For more info and to check out my other persona/music, click on JOHAN SUNDBERG at my top friends.)
