Stukasoul is a loose network of sometimes like-minded DJs, designers, musicians, fixers and assorted creative folk. Our desire is to enable anyone who has imagination and resulting ideas, but perhaps not always the financial or physical resources, to contribute to any events that we establish. Anyone is free to join and leave at any given time. All we ask of members is that they bring some expertise and energy to the table and be willing to share ideas and resources. We believe communication to be at the heart of what we are attempting to achieve; be it through as varied means as verbal discourse, visual art forms, or music. Everyone should have the chance to be who/what they want to be, and hopefully in some way we can push people to realise that. Ultimately we need this (dis)organisation to become a by-word for truely memorable and high quality events throughout Manchester, the norwest and beyond. And if all that sounds a little grandiose, then it probably is. It is really about memorable times, high times with those who recognise that music, the dance, art and culture itself are more than just simplistic and temporal child-like/juvenile reactions that we are taught to believe they are.
