About Me
DJ Linkz = Alinka Greasley. I am a violinist, pianist and DJ. I started playing the violin when I was six, and have played for the last 20years. Concert venues include St John's Smith Square (London), Snape Maltings (Suffolk), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Royal Albert Hall (Nottingham) and the Victoria Hall (Stoke on Trent), with orchestras such as the National Schools Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham University Philharmonic Orchestra, North Staffordshire Symphony Orchestra and more recently, Keele Philharmonic Orchestra (KPO) which I led for several years. I also have experience playing in chamber groups (e.g. quartets, quintets) and am embarking on a new project working with ChinaRED. I have been playing the piano for 15 years, but the last time I did recitals was many years ago. I have been DJ-ing for 8years. My musical preferences span all sorts of different styles, but predominantly classical and drum and bass. I love drum and bass because of its energy, flow, and emotion. For those of you who know, mainly subtitles, hardware, quarantine, suicide, bse, citrus, syndrome - but the collection is varied and contains ram, breakbeat, hospital, all sorts. I can play to a jump-up crowd or roll it out to a therapy crowd - versatile female dnb DJ. If you are interested in hearing my dnb mixes, then click on my blog above which links to esnips, where you can listen and download. ;)
