Hi, we are Stiffy Jones. Here's our story.
It all started in the late winter of 2004 in a suburb in Stockholm called Hässelby, when Patrik, Johan, Janne and Erik decided to form a band. We started rehearsing January 2005 at a local place called Tegelhögen. And we still do to this day. Then our friend Christian joined on lead guitar in the late summer 2005. Our first official band name was Stolpskott and after about 10 changes we had finally found a name we were happy with, Stiffy Jones. We were really poor musicians back then, no one in the band could hardly play their instruments but we worked hard and had a lot of fun. The first song we wrote was called "Alternative", we still play it at our gigs and you can listen to it here on our myspace. We did our first show in the spring of 2005 in Sundbyberg and it' could've gone better, but it was fun. And four years later after a few line-up changes and more tattoos we are still going strong.Our discography so far;
