I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I travel extensively around Europe with my work and so spend much of my life in hotel rooms. I would like to make friends with anyone who can help me wile away the boring hours with interesting chat and good laughs.
******** some have said that maybe that sounds a little flash so i gotta say that im not trying to show off its just how my life is at the moment and take it from me its not glamorous. Its actually a very lonely existence in hotel rooms and airport lounges so please don't count me out because you think that i might be some kind of high flyer with no time for a homegirl?!? ********
I love bikes and currently ride a Honda SP2 on the road with the occasional track day. No need to panic if you dont know anything about bikes ...yet.
I am a hobbyist musician and although I play guitar and keyboards and drums all pretty averagely I love recording and making music. I have made mostly electro experimental stuff up until now but I am also experimenting with some rockier sounds and the moment. Not really planning to do anything big, being realistic, its just for fun.
As a big contrast to my petrol-head side is my love of the great outdoors and wildlife. I love going for big fell walks in the Lake district, whatever the weather, especially if there are great views.
I don't smoke and drink very little these days coz I am currently trying to get fitter and visiting the gym as often as I can. I'm not a fitness fanatic or against drinking but I have just decided that its about time I tried looking after myself a bit.
I love movies and do consider myself a bit of a film buff although I am not a nerd and always forget actors names and stuff. I enjoy art movies as much as I can chomp popcorn through an action flic as long as there is some intelligence.
Amateur Photography really interests me and with a bit of luck and some practice normally I get some half decent results. Obviously motorcycle racing features pretty heavily in my colection but I would love to get better at portraits and landscape

My Interests

Motorbikes Motorcycle Racing Music Film Countryside / wildlifePhotography

I'd like to meet:

Someone who knows how to have fun but doesnt go out drinking themselves sick every night.
Someone who likes a movie and good food.
Someone who doesnt take themselves too seriously but is dependable.
Somebody that has the intelligence to hold a decent conversation but can be a good listener too.
Someone with a social conscience but not a fanatic.
Somebody that looks after themselves but is not obsessive.
Someone lovely?

Music:

current fave cd = Queens of the stone age - songs for the deaf although PJ Harvey - Is this desire is close second.Love the last two Doves and Snow Patrol albums! but can also be partial to a bit of Penguin Cafe or The Orb when the mood takes me

Movies:

best film of all time would be a mixture of big budget know how by James Cameron with the detail and look of Ridley Scott add some intensity from David Lynch and sublety from Sophia Coppola and finish off with the emotions from Martin Scorcese and dialogue by Quentin Tarantino. It would probably star Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt as father and son with Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley as love interest plus Ian Holm, Michael Gambon and maybe Kevin Spacey

Television:

Lost, 24, Stargate, Dr Who, Torchwood but I also love brain numbing, car crash TV like X-factor or Idol or Big Brother.

Books:

Dont really read much anymore but have read the Hitchikers guide lots of times as it always makes me laugh out loud

Heroes:

Valentino Rossi of course! and Tiger my cat!
