Gumball 3000 is no ordinary rally, and '3000 Miles' follows the lives of these fearless young racers participating in the 2006 rally from the start in London to checkpoints throughout Europe and Asia to reaching the chequered flag in Los Angeles just 8 days later.
MTV Jackass star Bam Margera, co-piloted by Ryan Dunn (his 'dick darstardly' partner in causing chaos), push their customised purple Lamborghini to the limits, whilst skateboard legend Tony Hawk and the rest of the gang opt for a comfortable, but fast, Jeep SRT8, as they drive, party, fly and session their way across the globe.
Over 2 million fans lined the streets to watch the spectacular machinery drive by, glorifying the sometimes violent world of rallies, and as the crowds close in drama unfolds with spectacular crashes as cars spin off in their quest for victory!
With incredible cars and unbelievable terrain, Hawk puts pedal to the metal, whilst Bam's Lamborghini is sabotaged on route to Thailand. Broken down, with no reverse gear and left eating 'bugs' on a hard shoulder in Bangkok, is this the end of the road for the purple Lambo...
