Down to earth folks, ya know the people that are not afraid to be themselves. I would like to think that there are still some out there like that. Somebody that is sure of themself, but not too sure, somebody that has a head on his shoulders and used for other than a hat rack, Somebody that respects himself because if he can't respect himself how could I expect him to respect me? They have got to be able, or at least trys to handle/and fix pretty much any situation that life throws at them. ( No I did not say miracle worker). I love it when someone has the ability to be able to laugh at themselves. The ultimate? well the answer to that question is simple! A man that is able to communicate, (See told ya simple!)
Naturally that would be "chick flicks", Pretty Woman, Fried Green Tomatoes, Driving Miss Daisy, The Notebook, etc. but then again I liked the Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, D
Absolutely not a "Soap Opera Junkie", Discovery Health, ER, House, 24, and all of the law and order (csi, svu) of course the re-runs of Jag, Trading Spaces, pretty much on Discovery Health, and of course pretty much anything on the foodnetwork (very important).
John Grisham, Janet Evonovich, Sydney Sheldon, Jackie Collins, Danielle Steele, V.C. Andrews. Pretty much if they wrote it I have read it! But my favorite is a book titled, It's always something. Written by none other than Gilda Radner
Gilda Radner (after reading her book ) She had to of been one of the most courageous women I have ever heard of. Our Military that is away from "our" homes but never from our hearts or minds The women and men that have the courage to fight and travel the road that so many have traveled in the past. Of course my sons they really are something, and naturally my parents, and my brother (my best friend). But without a shadow of doubt in my mind, my biggest hero throughout my life was my precious Grandmother. I will forever be missing her.
