Performing under the name DJ Wesley, I am a club DJ, specializing in house, circuit and mainstream club music, based in Denver, Colorado. I've performed at dance clubs, private events and parties, and extensively online. With a radio-friendly voice, I work to bring a something a little different to my sets than just mixing music. I love to stoke the energy level by talking to the crowd during club sets; I'm a natural with emceeing events; and anyone who's heard one of my online sets knows I like to add a little humor and information to mix.
The music I play depends on the venue or the nature of the event, what the crowd reacts to, and other factors, but it's generally a blend of chart-topping pop remixes, house (filter, disco, electro and progressive), and occasionally some techno and trance. My musical choices are geared toward high energy tracks that
generally feature vocals. I prefer spinning songs that the crowd can relate to, sing to, and that have strong melodic elements. In short, I want people attending
my events to enjoy the music itself, as much as they enjoy dancing to it.
Equipment-wise, I'm an all-digital DJ, pushing aside vinyl or CD turntables in favor of digital controllers and software. I carry most of my dance music collection with me to every gig, and for private events and parties, I can coordinate special needs and requests ahead of time. I have a complete mobile set-up at the ready (including sound and lighting) that's great for most average venues, and I can coordinate rentals for larger venues if needed.

Making Music
In addition to spinning commercial dance music as a DJ, I am a jazz pianist, and have been an
aspiring electronic musician for years. I have four music projects actively underway right now: two remixes,
one cover song (with my own vocals), and one original song of mine own.
One of the remixes will break first, and I'm aiming to finish the cover
song (which I won't name just yet!) sometime this year. Stay tuned!
