Singin' and Singin' and Singin' some more

About Me

VOTED FAVORITE LOCAL MALE VOCALIST IN THE MIDWEST BEAT MAGAZINE’S 2006 READER’S POLL!!This is a true singer. Robby Celestin was brought up on classic soul music and has brought that passion to every style he encounters. He is an emotional vocalist with a fantastic range. You won’t see anyone sing from the heart like the "Man in the Hat". An energetic performer and wonderful songwriter, Robby will move you everytime you experience him. His lyrics are smart and moving and his songs are all memorable. He speaks of life, love, and everything in between. This Chicago singer has performed at the White House and even in Bosnia for the troops with the international vocal group Stormy Weather. He has opened up for AND shared the stage with many nostalgic bands such as, the Four Tops, Survivor, ELO, Little River Band, Malo, Tierra, El Chicano, Maurice Williams, Jerry Butler, Brooklyn Bridge and many more.Robby has been mostly known throughout the Chicagoland/NW Indiana area as the lead singer of TimePeace and TimePeace Unplugged. In 2008 he became the lead vocalist for Chicago’s newest variety group, Final Say. Celestin has just finished his newest solo CD "Voiceprints" which has already drawn a successful following. His style ranges from Soul to Rock to Latin to R&B. Music is in his genes. Robby’s father, Robert "Cuate" Celestin, was a member of the Atlantic soul group the Enchanters and performed with many motown acts including the Jackson 5. Don’t pass up a chance to see this guy in action. Don’t pass up a chance to hear this guy sing. Don’t pass up a chance to experience the power and passion that is Robby Celestin.
