Tones Of Misery Started out With the pain of and agony of Jimmy a old punker, who had a rage that kept building inside him for the last seven years.
Last time he stood on a stage or even had a band was a long seven years.
One day at work he and a collegue(Robin) started talking about bad religion and how fun it would be too start a new band with some really good tunes with the inspiration from Bad Religion and alot of other great punk rock bands.
One day the pair decided too start playing together, through a friend of the pair they found a exellent quitar player and vocalist Alessandro. the threesome started working on songs that Jimmy had been playing for the last seven years at his house with a beat up, and out of tune acoustic guitar.
They soon discovered that was a matchup made in heaven.
At one rehershal they brought along another collegue(Simon) and Friend of Robin and Alessandro's, no one less then the soon too be virtouso Magnus.
And that is the story so far.
Tones of Misery has the energy and quality that alot of the acts out there today lacks. and most importantly, the fire and passion too make something really great
The Ep "The Art of Lying" was recorded during the first months of '07 and was released on the 17 march, St patricks day of '07.
