About Me

This is a place of tribute to the late Kurt Cobain (1967-1994). This is for his fans to talk together, like decent human beings. And to try and get Kurt's case re-opened. Many people are trying to organize petitions and such for this goal, and if we all work together, we can make it happen. So, share your opinion, but don't cause problems, please.

Kurt Cobain, as you know, was one of the most influential musicians of the early 90s. He was the frontman of the "grunge" rock band Nirvana. Cobain, Grohl, and Novoselic became rock and roll icons. Although, they might not have wanted that kind of attention. But, the band's career was cut short in April 1994, when Kurt Cobain's body was found in the greenhouse of his Seattle home. Police considered it an "open and closed case of suicide", stating that Kurt's death was caused by a "self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head". That day of April 8th put the world into a state of shock and sorrow. And that's to be expected, but many people now are also expressing anger, because they realize that this case looks a lot like a homicide.

Let's look at the clues:

1. Kurt had a heroin level of three times the lethal dose, which is 1.52 milligrams per liter. Medical Experts will tell you that a person with that amount of heroin in his blood would be incapacitated within seconds and most likely put into a coma. So, how could Kurt have possibly have rolled down his sleeves, put away his heroin paraphanalia, and shot himself with a shotgun...when he shouldn't have been able to move at all?

2. The Suicide note that was found near Kurt's body...

If you read it carefully, everything up until the last four lines appears to be a letter to his fans, addressing the fact that he was planning on leaving the music business. He knew this would be a big deal to his fans. But, look at those last four lines...doesn't look like the same handwriting does it? Those lines look like a suicide note, but don't look like they were written by Kurt.

3. There were no legible fingerprints on the shotgun, the shotgun shells, or the pen used to write the "suicide note".

4. Kurt's wife, Courtney Love, was in Los Angeles for the week leading up to his death. When Kurt escaped from rehab and flew back to Seattle, Courtney was telling people that he had a shotgun and was suicidal. But, when asked to go to Seattle and locate him, she said that she couldn't, she had "business". A few days before Kurt was found, Love was rushed to the emergency room due to a 911 call stating that she had overdosed in her hotel room. She was released into police custody two hours later, because she had drug paraphanalia in her possession. Phone records show that the 911 call came from her own hotel room, as if she was trying to establish an alibi.

I think most of you already know this, and there are more signs, but I just figured I'd sum it up. This case should most definitely be re-opened, and there is no way police didn't see these signs to begin with. In my opinion, this whole thing is a bad cover-up.
