80 Yards was born in 2004, with five elements: Rui (drums), Marco (bass) ,David (vocals), Fabio (guitar) and Beto (guitar) . Since the begin the band has been growing on what they call more than a style, but a lifestyle : Hardcore. Their music talk about loyalty, all life trouble, of friendship and brotherhood, having as support a sound an Hardcore Sound with influences of Punk and Metal. In 24 April 2005 ,
80 Yards realesed the first demo called "Right Through Your Mind", with 3 songs one of them in Portuguese.
