About Me

27yo female living on Auckland's North Shore. Have lived here since I was in kindy; but don't hold it against me.I don't really fit what seems to be the 'shore girl' stereotype.'Nice' is how my friends describe me. I suppose I can't argue with that.I am a nice girl. Have tried to harden myself up in the past; with no success whatsoever. Don't try to fix what ain't broken ya think?I'm a qualified nanny; so my friends with kids love me visiting. Auntie 'Lise' is the first adult to get down on the floor and muck in with the little monkeys. Usually I'm the only adult doing it. I also have a Travel/Tourism and Business Studies Diploma. Worked for Air NZ for 3 years before the shift work and being blamed for airport closures due to fog got to me. Now I work for a construction products company in Customer Services. Damn my lovely phone manner and patience of a saint. It has doomed me to a life of all work and no appreciation or acknowledgement. *gets out the kleenex*I make sure to get to as many gigs as possible. Whether they're free, pub gigs, big international arenas. You name it, I'm there. I do draw the line at Hi Five and the Wiggles though =)Little harder to blend into the crowd there.Single. Yes. Desperate and dateless?? Not just yet. There's a glimmer of hope that I won't turn into a spinster =)I live for the weekends, my family and MUSIC. I believe you should work to live, not live to work.
