About Me

CA$H FLO-- When Virginia comes to mind, some of us remember the famous slogan Virginia is for Lovers… But in case you haven’t heard, Newport News, Virginia carries the nick name Bad News, VA… because of its elevated drug addiction, towering crime rate and soaring death toll… If Newport News, VA was the topic, then we’d have to assume the song writer was on point when she wrote, “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore”.In the midst of the wreckage that comes from Bad News VA, CA$H FLO is blazing a new trail to survive the hardships of this hood. As a young kid growing up on the mean streets of Bad News, VA, CA$H FLO was forced to learn the meaning of survival while most kids were careless about life’s everyday worries. This middle child born to a single mother on welfare, where rats and roaches were all too familiar, began rapping when he was just 9 years old. The fifteen dollar pay he would receive from rapping was his motivation to hone his hip-hop skills. And when the group’s organizer failed to pay him… he quit the game and headed for trouble. This looked to be the least of his troubles. When CA$H FLO was 15 years old his family got evicted out of their already too small apartment, were split in three, and CA$H FLO was forced to move in with his Aunt. He felt that now was the time that he had to make his CA$H FLOW- by any means necessary. Street hustlin’ became the answer and jail became a revolving door. The GOOD NEWS in this BAD NEWS town was that CA$H FLO remained in school and was pulled under the wing of a track coach. His track coach became a father figure and encouraged him to get and stay out of trouble. And the influence from coach took CA$H FLO all the way from running All-State in high school track to his first year of college at Christopher Newport University. Now if you’re thinking, Wow, what a great story, think again! This wasn’t the end of CA$H FLO’s troubles. For one, his CA$H was definitely not flowing and his need to survive turned him, yet again, to the fast life, a life that ALWAYS ends in jail or death.CA$H FLO enjoyed the fruits of the fast life… the money, the girls, the parties… but there was no glamour in this short lived career. Along the way, of this constant hustle… CA$H FLO lost a lot, but one thing he never lost was his motivation to challenge himself to become successful at whatever he put his mind to. Mesmerized by the images of glitz, glamour, and CA$H FLOW of his favorite Rap Artists, he decided to put his own hip-hop skillz back to the test… this time, he went full force. Realizing that these famous Rap Stars that he idolized came from the same gritty street life that he came from, he realized that there was nothing that could stop him from living his dream just like them. Now, if you think the only Good News that ever came from VA are Michael Vick, Alonzo Mourning, Aaron Brooks, and Allen Iverson… Sorry, that’s the wrong ANSWER! CA$H FLO is up next to be crowned… King of the South! His lyrics are real, his hooks will real you in, and his FLO is RE-markable.It’s time for TI, Chingy, Luda, Jeezy, Joc & all the rest of these cats out here getting money, to make room for CA$H FLO. His flow is putting CA$H in his pockets. He keeps the crowd flowin. And there ain’t no stopping him. He’s all over the south right now- doin his thing… coming to a MixTape near you!
