I like pushing myself to do things seemingly stupid or useless. Such as: running a marathon, getting a tattoo, swimming with dolphins, riding an ATV, snow boarding, body surfing, deciding to major in Liberal Arts, becoming a Yelp Elite, traveling to a new country and a new city every year.
All these seemingly useless experiences and goals are the core of my life right now, which is: dreaming of something and just doing it. I know at my age, I should be finish up college, get a "good" job and buy that dream house. Lovely list, I know. It's just that there are some things that I want to accomplish that is more important at the moment. Other people have told me, many times, that my priorities are out of order, but I finally realized that those are "other people's opinions". And what I beleive is: Life is too short to not be doing what I want.
Lucky for me, I have several people in my life who love me, even though I'm weird. I have Jimmy, the rock I hold on to when I'm in trouble, who inspires and pushes me to do things I feel incapable to do. My fantastic friends, some close and others far, who keep me well up to date with the latest and greatest. And, of course, my fam, who understand my unique qualities and share some. LOL.
It's not always smart to do things without analyzing what will come out of it, but lately, just wanting to is enough reason for me.
