About me….HMM how do you summarize yourself. I hate trying to sum yourself up in one paragraph. You either end up sounding conceited or completely self-deprecating. But I will give it a go.
Sometimes I think I am a walking conundrum. I’m a tomboy in a black pencil skirt with 4 inch stilettos. I love to watch ESPN and Paula Deen on The food Network. I’m tall and athletic. I gotta thank my dad for my height and my mom for my athleticism. Sports have always ruled our household…especially basketball. I’m very creative and I love to paint. In fact if I had it my way I would make a living off of my art. That’s a goal to aspire to…. I love love love music. It inspires me….and I am constantly at Easy Street Records thumbing through all the LPs looking for something new. I admit that I am a bit eccentric but who isn’t? I love office supplies, I collect journals, and I am obsessed with lip balm. I have a love affair with European architecture and a fondness for black and white pictures.
I love to cook. I rarely use a recipe because what’s the fun in that?! I can say with confidence that I definitely know my way around the kitchen. I love to cook for other people. The easiest way for me to express love and care for someone is to have them as a guest in your house and to serve them an awesome meal. I think people in this day have taken hospitality for granted. Good food brings people together. All of my travels in Europe have taught me this one thing….that good music and good food transcend any language.
I am close with my family, (even though we are crazy dysfunctional….but who’s family isn’t, right?!) especially my sister. I think my niece and nephew are the funniest kids in the world and I love them dearly! I could think of no greater job than being their Auntie.
I love to travel and I am so blessed to have a job that sends me all around the world! From the beaches of the Caribbean to the ancient streets of Rome….I have traveled to some of the most incredible places.So that’s me…..in a teeny tiny nutshell...
