ok the pixies ate the last blurb thing along with the paypal button, which has been restored, so err heres a new blurb thing.The Why:A lurvly man called Jimmy mac who we all love was on holleday in Spain with his twin brother in September and got hit by a car, he was put in a coma and suffered severe brain injuries, after a month in Spain he was flown back to the Royal Surrey in the UK. He is awake and although no broken bones, his noggin is a little fuzzy and is taking each day as it comes. He is permanently blind in one eye and his short term memory and attention span has been greatly effected, but he is determined to get back on track as much as possible, so hes just Jim with a few new features. So his friends have got together to put this gig on, hes going to be in hospital for a few months to come, with his brother taking so much time off work and jim being self employed everyone wants to just lend a hand in getting him back down the pub where he belongs.The Ask:Please come to the gig and lend your support, its an evening of pretty people (yourselves) and pretty tunes, there’s also a jimmy lee jamboree full of treats for you to buy to help the jmac.MINDWIRE ON 96.4FM THE EAGLEThe lovely Si from Mindwire was on the Eagle on the 10/12, he plugged Jim Fest like a trooper and played an acoustic version of Bottled Sunshine. A song that washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life and proved with Jims lyrics and Si's guitar wizardry that their music is what feelings sound like.
