About Me
DJ KC has become one of the biggest DJs in the world of Hip-Hop and R&B with a back catalogue of around thirty mixtapes, a dozen "party break" vinyls and an impressive list of sets in the biggest clubs. Over the years, he has earned his reputation as a result of his varied musical tastes (Hip-Hop, R&B, Crunk, Ragga, Reggaeton, etc.) and for his inspiring technical capabilities.
During its early days, Hip-Hop culture lacked the success it enjoys today. A pioneer of this music, DJ KC developed as much its technical aspect as its production. He followed in the footsteps of the greatest New York DJs (Kid Capri, Ron G, DJ Clue, etc.) producing several mixtapes, tapes of new music mixed with his notable style and dexterity.
Faced with the great success of his mix tapes, it is natural that he began producing "party break", very popular at the time. He founded his own label "Funky Breaks" and released several volumes that had spells in the top of the genre for many weeks.
His international reputation is growing in many European countries, as well as in Japan.
Present on the scene of the biggest clubs in Brussels (Who's Who's Land, Mirano, Fuse), he has made himself a name as the most complete DJ of the capital. After two years at “Le Bal" (Brussels) and three years for the prestigious "Butterfly Party" at "Louise Gallery†(Brussels), KC acquired extensive experience in the art of drawing people to the track.
KC hosts many memorable evenings alongside the greatest: DJ Abdel, Cut Killer, Goldfingers, Kost, Poska, Fatman, Scoop, Cash Money, Tony Touch, etc ...
With numerous appearances in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Greece, Norway, Macedonia, Morocco, KC has perfected his set combining appropriate music selection with an impressively technical ability.
KC is also rampant on the airwaves: he is a resident of Total R&B, every Saturday from 20:00 to 22:00 on NRJ (national radio, http://total.nrj.be).
Naturally, he participates at NRJ in The Park or NRJ Music Tour with numerous artists such as Sinik, Soprano, M. Pokora.
Recently, we have seen him opening Belgium’s largest free concert with a staggering 45,000 people! (www.deejaykc.com, under MEDIA)
Finally, DJ KC produces a weekly mix of 60 minutes, available on his new podcast “New York make some noise†(on www.deejaykc.com) and completely free, to the delight of fans.
