Allstar Posse

Started in '97, Allstar Posse is one of the greatest party bands to ever grace this big round earth of ours. With a constant emphasis on having a good time, the posse took over much of the Pinellas county area with their infectious songs that kept a party going. Many of their 2 hour practices at Circle Studios turned in to 5 hour jams with plenty of guest musicians sitting in. There was even the legendary "Circle Tom" mosh through room 2 during an extended practice. Whether they were setting off fire extinguisers or killing a kick ass version of some killer track you love, the Allstar Posse ALWAYS entertained. Starting as a 3 piece, Patrick - guitar/vox, Frank - Bass/vox, and Tom - drums, the guys banged around for a while before asking Josh to take over the Vocals. The Posse was soon playing tons of old school skate punk songs and partying every chance they got. After a few years of trying to get things together, the Posse started falling apart. Nobody's sure who said what or who left first, but by late 2000- early 2001 they guys had stopped jamming. Next thing we know Frank is in the Army, Pat gets hit by a car, Josh is MIA, and Tom is, well, Tom. 2003 - The Posse is back. When Frank announces he will be back in town for a couple weeks the Posse set forth to take over the world. Dec. 24, 2003 - The Posse gets together for one practice. Lots of drinking ensues Dec. 26, 2003 - The Posse goes to the legendary Circle Studios to record "...But It's A Good Suck" Dec. 27, 2003 - The guys make 100 pressings of "...But It's A Good Suck" They have complete CD's in Jewel cases available for sale Dec. 28, 2003 - Allstar Posse packs The Tamiami @ Jannus Landing.After the show the Posse went their seperate ways once again. Frank served in Iraq and then joined one of the Pacific NorthWests hardest bands, "TORTURE BOX". Tom went to form another band "housebroken". Patrick joined Tom's new band for about a year before leaving to concentrate more on the new Allstar Posse project he and Frank had started. Tom later moved to Miami where he still lives. 2007 - Frank comes back to Pinellas county and the Posse bring in fresh blood by the name of Hymie to play drums. One full practice with Josh back on vocals and the Posse play a sell out show at Not Just Sports in Largo. Six days later they play agig at Boomerz Boiler room, living out a dream. Soon after Frank returns to Washington and the Posse bring in bassist Jen to fill the void. 2008 - Who The Fuck Knows?
