Life as a self-employed personal trainer has been interesting, to say the least. Training clients and helping to change their lives is incredibly rewarding. My fitness career started in July 2001 when I began working for a major gym chain. Being an actress and a model the free membership was a great benefit:)There I received a great deal of knowledge about the in’s & out’s of running a business, customer service, personal training, and getting my clients results. I originally planned for this to be my part time job during college. Once I obtained my degree in a ‘real’ career I would leave the fitness industry and become an adult with a 9 to 5. Well, retrieving a job after college wasn’t as easy as I had anticipated and I am just not the 9 to 5 type of girl. So, I continued to be a Personal Trainer Full-time, along with modeling and acting gigs here and there. Soon, I realized that I had a real passion for helping people reach their fitness goals, and changing their lives in the process. It was at that point that I decided that this was my career and that Health & Wellness was my passion and mission.
