Drumming is more than precision timekeeping; it is all about heart and passion driven rhythms, which make great music. Devin Beaman is a perfect example of a passionate drumming style.The Philadelphia native was surrounded by music from an early age and began playing drums at the tender age of seven. Devin influences are jazz, rock, hip-hop,world music, and soul all of which have helped to create his unique style. Studying with Will Kennedy former drummer of the jazz group the Yellowjackets has given Devin the chance to show off his unique style as well as record and perform with other artists such as: Bow wow wow, Meg Lee Chin, Oslo, The Alchemist Sound, The Randies, Julie Newmark and Hi Def. Devin has made (pilot) television appearances in MTV’s “Girl Makes Band” and in VH-1’s “Celebrity Band’s on the Run” with Bow wow wow.Currently,Devin is doing session work and performs in and around the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
