My BellaThree days after losing one son to gunshot wounds and watching a second one cling to life after taking 14 bullets, Robert Caldwell made a gut-wrenching appeal for help to find the gunmen."I am pleading directly to the individual who did this senseless crime," Caldwell, speaking at the site of the shootings, said to reporters Sunday as tears welled in his eyes. "There's no animosity. I'm hurt, I'm distraught, but you're a human being also. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you out here on your streets. Turn yourself in."Caldwell's sons, Mantaniel, 26, and Elijah Caldwell, 25, were shot Aug. 14 in the 7800 block of South Marshfield. Mantaniel, a minister, died.
