About Me

Well folks, Dr. Gonzo here, reporting in from P-Town, US of A. I'm a twenty-one year old self taught musician; never had a lesson in my life, formal or otherwise. I'm also currently working solo and, as you might expect, it's a li' tough. But as they say, when the going gets tough... the tough go cyclic. So here I am, working on some new numbers and reapin' the benefits of an easygoing performer- no pressure. New Music is my main objective! There should be more on the way (I've been having to work with a bleedin' X box headset patched to a 'puter for a mic) so if you like what you hear, please spread the word an' keep listening. To those of you who like it, thank you! You're the reason I make music.-----Gonzo

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Me on guitar, me on drums (electric unfortunately) and me myself on vocals. (Bass too for that matter.)
Influences: "If you have legs and are flammable, you are never blocking a fire exit." ----Mitch HedbergI was influenced mostly by bands that my pops listened to when i was young. Bands like the Lou Reed (and Velvet Underground), Slade, Ramones, Clapton, Zep, the poques Marley and the chieftains and all that were from him constantly listening to that old turntable he had. I was led into the punk rock deal from like middle school. People would be like, "Joe, listen to these guys. I think you'll like 'em." And I did. I remember one day back in the 6th grade, a kid I Knew brought me a Green Day CD, which turned out to be Dookie. Soon as I heard Burnout, I was stoked. I also remember this one girl bringing me Business and Buzzcocks CDs. Those dudes are rad. So's Dan Reeder. Come to think of it, I like A LOT of music. Also prime listening is Dr. Bombay and o' course Lil' Wayne's ol' stuff. Too much to list. Oh yeah, an' one more that almost skipped me mind: GOLDFINGER BABY!!!!Happy MILF Day Song

Sounds Like: Scrappy, good, old fashioned, Rock 'n' Roll. Some Punk too and a few slow numbers (for the ladies). Very raw tone, and (this is more than a little embarrassing) extremely unpolished, as I'm not a vocalist at heart and I suck at mixing (I've lost too much top end not wearing earplugs to be able to EQ well). Either way, try to Njoy. Oh yeah, theres a sorta hip hoppish dealio for all you gangsta's out there too called Minigun Rock.
