Mary J Blige and Jay Z Announce Tour Dates
Top Of The Game Stars Prepare For 25-City North American Trek
Jay-Z and his Grammy-winning "Can't Knock the Hustle" partner Mary J. Blige will co-headline a 25-date, North American outing dubbed the "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" tour.
The Live Nation and Haymon Events produced trek kicks off on March 22 at Miami's American Airlines Arena and will hit cities along the eastern seaboard as well as New Orleans, Houston, Las Vegas and Oakland.
The "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" tour is the pinnacle of Mary and Jay's long-time collaboration which began in 1996 with the their hit single "Can't Knock The Hustle."
Tickets go on sale for the first shows beginning Feb. 15th and are available through http://www.livenation.com . Confirmed dates are listed below. More dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

50 Cent Finally Sheds Light On Young Buck Situation

50 Cent has officially denied the rumors of his intentionally withholding Young Buck from the G-Unit collaboration mixtape, Return of the Body Snatchers, and his international tour.
In an interview on DJ Kay Slay's Streetsweepers Radio Show on Sirius Shade 45, 50 explained the misconception and confusion that had many fans wondering about Buck's status with the Unit.
"During the actual international tour, Buck was scheduled to go on the 'Young Rich Tour'-the tour Sha Money was putting together for him and Rich Boy-and I didn't know that didn't actually materialize while I was overseas," 50 said.
50 also acknowledged that he could understand why the rumors arose, speaking on Buck's absence from the international tour and absence on the mixtape.
"It looks crazy because he just ain't there, then you come back and see the tape and he ain't there, but it's not what people think it is," 50 said.
Despite 50's justifying of Buck being absent from the tour and album due to scheduling conflicts, a previous interview from Buck still leaves fans wondering if their relationship will still hold.
"It makes me feel like 'What's going on?' [T]here's no communication, so I don't really understand why a lot of things is what it is," Buck said in an interview on Phoenix, Arizona radio station Power 98.3.
As of now, Buck still remains an official member and artist on the G-Unit/Interscope label.

Tell All Book About Dr. Dre On The Way
"I'm About To Blow The Top Of Everything I Saw"
One World Books will publish a book titled "ROLLIN WITH DRE: The Unauthorized Account: An Insider's Tale of the Rise, Fall, and Rebirth of West Coast Hip Hop" that is expected to shock and give a never-before-seen version of the life and times of legendary producer Dr. Dre.
"ROLLIN WITH DRE" will be a tell-all story that covers Dre's early days as a member of N.W.A., joining and escaping Death Row Records, building and helping launch the careers of artists including Eminem, 50 Cent, and The Game among other key events in the producer's life.
The book will be by Bruce Williams, long-time friend and former right-hand man to Dre, with Donnell Alexander. As one of the closest people to observe the renowned producer, Williams promises to not withhold anything.
"I'm about to blow the top off of everything I saw," Williams has said.
During his time alongside Dre, Williams was considered his confidant and problem-solver to a number of artists and others earning him the nickname "Uncle Bruce". He is expected to have either been at a specific location when action went down or at least close enough to hear the hollow points fly by.
In addition to the key events in Dre's life, the book will also discuss the driving forces of sex, violence and power in the hip hop industry with an emphasis on the west coast scene. It will also give an inside look at what was behind the 50 Cent and The Game reconciliation press conference and the planned release of the long awaited forthcoming album, Detox.

Remy Ma's Lawyer Says Prosecution Lack DNA Evidence

Remy Ma's defense attorney revealed to SOHH today that DNA evidence prosecutors had been banking on in her assault case can not be found.
As previously reported Remy is accused of shooting former friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph twice in the abdomen last year. Remy maintains her innocence in the crime.
Barnes-Joseph was shot last July outside a New York club after attending a mutual friend's party with Remy. The incident was allegedly sparked when Remy discovered $2,000 missing from her purse and accused the victim of stealing the money.
Prosecutors scoured the victim's car for evidence pointing to Remy in the shooting but the blood evidence that came back was useless to their case, according to the rapper's lawyer.
"They were looking in the victim's car for evidence of blood," Remy's lawyer Ivan Fisher told SOHH exclusively. "Now I ask you, since my client wasn't shot and the victim was, whose blood do you think it was? As long as the prosecution keeps thinking like this, we might win this case."
In addition to Remy's criminal case, the shooting victim has Rem on the hook for $80 million in a civil lawsuit naming the rapper, Universal Music Group and others who play a major role in Rem's career.
The biggest hurdle Rem will face in the criminal case, regardless as to what parts of Barnes-Joseph's allegations are true or untrue, is the fact that the victim was actually shot.
"The fact is, Barnes did get shot and that's the biggest obstacle," Fishcer said. "If you sorted through the case and selected the biggest problem, that's it. How did she get shot, why did she get shot, who shot her, with what gun, whose gun that's what we plan to vigorously address in this case."
But there was an actual altercation of some sort between Remy and Barnes-Joseph.
"I don't wanna comment on how the altercation between them occurred," he said. "The issue actually didn't arise until Remy got out of the club and got to the parking garage and realized she was missing money."
Fisher wouldn't speak on his defense strategy for Rem, but said his outlook on the case is "very positive."
"We're very anxious to get this case to trial," he explained. "We're grateful the judge is gonna set a date in the very near future and we look forward to vindication."
As of press time no exact date has been determined for Remy's trial but it has been tentatively scheduled for Feb 25. Besides the assault charge, Rem has also been hit with witness intimidation and gang assault charges, in an incident that happened after the shooting.

The Game Cops Plea In Gun Case, Gets 4 Months In Jail

While facing three felonies, The Game recently copped a plea in regards to his trial on felony gun charges -- and will serve a 120-day jail sentence instead. The Game was accused of making criminal threats, possessing a firearm in a school zone, and brandishing a firearm in the presence of an officer after allegedly getting into a fight during a pick-up game of basketball held at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in Los Angeles in February 2006.
The Game had previously pleaded not guilty to all charges and was facing up to five years in prison if he was convicted.
In the debut issue of Benzino's new magazine, Monsta, the rapper said he has given up on fighting the case and would rather save his money instead, despite maintaining his innocence.
"The crazy part about this is that I've had guns before in my life," The Game told the magazine. "But this time I didn't have a gun. And because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I'm in a predicament where I'm asking, Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial so who knows what jury's gonna come in and say I'm guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they're trying to give me for no reason?"
There is no word as to when The Game is scheduled to begin serving his sentence.

I guess we can put the rumors to bed that Young Jeezy and Keyshia Cole have seperated. Colleague of mine, Sandra Rose spoke with Keyshia Cole last night while she was in LA preparing for The Grammy's.
"I first spoke with Keyshia's manager Manny Halley who put me in touch with Keyshia. Keyshia is on the West Coast preparing for the Grammy Awards which airs this weekend. After exchanging pleasantries, Keyshia told me she was a frequent visitor of my internet blog site. She suggested calling Jeezy so he could offer his input on a post I wrote alleging Jeezy said they were no longer a couple. Both Keyshia and Jeezy denied any knowledge of the other woman who claims to be Jeezy's longtime girlfriend".
Keyshia: "Me and Jay spend everyday together except when we're on the road."
Jeezy denied saying he and Keyshia were not together anymore. "We're not tripping," said Jeezy, "but when we hear things like that, it's just crazy. Why would I have a conversation about anything personal with a random person in the club?"
Keyshia added, "I would like for you to let [your readers] know that that was false information. That was never said. We are keeping our business our business. It is what it is. When we're seen they know what it is. At the end of the day, we're just focused on our careers right now but at the same time, I'm not saying I'm not with him and he's not saying he's not with me. So he didn't say that."

Warner Music Group boss Lyor Cohen says he has not spoken with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter about partnering to launch a new record label, but adds he would love to re-team with the rapper he once signed to Island Def/Jam.
