I grew up with creative impulse. I never took ballet. I never played soccer. I never had slumber parties. I talked to horses and didn't wear shoes. I'd sit in a canoe in a small pond intending to go no where. I'd hotfoot it half a mile just to climb a tree.
I like the feeling of sun warmed sidewalks, seeing chinese writing on my takeout chinese order slip, the smell of horses, underwater somersaults in a pool, and reading books about the past or the future. I don't like reading the news.
