Most of the time, she walks on the sunny side of the street, but every time we say goodbye she gets that mood indigo, causing her to go on a sentimental journey beyond the sea or somewhere over the rainbow, or maybe get some kicks on that route 66, or go wandering on the beach in Ipanema. She can't give you anything but love, baby... a genuine love of all music that swings so cool and sways so gently, night and day, beneath the blue moon and under the sun. So she'll sing to the sun in the sky, and she'll sing 'til the sun rises high, 'cause carnival time is here, magical time of year, and you'll get misty the moment you hear...

Band Members: Gwen Leo-Allen singing with various jazz musicians from around Hamburg.Featured here are Jürgen Kok on guitar ("That Ol' Devil Called Love" by Doris Fisher and Allen Roberts), and the Skyliner Big Band conducted by Andreas Böther ("Feels Like October" by Mike Segal and "So In Love" by Cole Porter). The big band arrangements are by Torsten Maas. The soloists were Markus Steinhauser (ts) and Peter Overbeck (fh). "One Fine Day" is a song by Carole King, this version was inspired by a Natalie Merchant interpretation. It was recorded and engineered by Joachim Schlüter, who also did all programming.These recordings were made around 1998 - 2002.
