Musician since age 8. Started as a steel pan player in primary school and thanks to the opportunity given by Mr Richard Peltier joined the Hackney Schools Steel Orchestra aged 12, which lead to playing in front of Prince Charles a the Golden Slipper ball in Hackney, Prince Edward in Whitehall and The Flora London Marathon. After leaving secondary school I moved up to Swindon for a year or two where i started Mc'ing ,and thanks to DJ Brooklyn from Bristol was able to get on stage at various garage events such as Pure Silk, Sidewinder, Garage Nation amongst others, and got to perform back to back with MC Viper, Kie, Maxwell D, Genius Crew, Heartless, Simon Says, Sticky,DJ S, V2 Crew and others, aswell as being Unity Fm and a couple pirate stations with a crew The Union When I came back to London I saw how the garage scene was being replaced by grime and attempted to jump on it but lost interest quickly. I then turned to production after spending god knows how long on Music 2000 and then learned how to use Reason And FL Studio and returned to playing drums and percussion. After hooking up with the crew i grew up with Flawless Status (Bugsy, Sleepz, Promo D, Esco, Bombchelle) and meeting up with Ollie From Baitus Novac i got into hip hop and started writing and performing in numerous small bars and clubs in and around London but preferred to be known as a conscious street poet/ rapper. I then met up with Planetman and the Internationalz in Mayfair and started gigging around with them at bars and festivals including the G8 Protests In Scotland, Big Green Gathering, Sunrise, Small World, Standon Calling and also performed on MTV's Barrio 19 With Mr Shifter doing street percussion. Hip hop then started to die a slow and painful death due the lack of what i define as true lyricism (flow + inspiration content) and I felt that there was no point wasting good lyrics on a target audience that was no longer interested, I got back into music production, concentrated on being an all round musician/artist and just enjoying the musical journey and improving my skills, which I still do and will continue to do.
