Born in 1981 in Leipzig and living in Eilenburg during the last decade of the German Democratic Republic I saw the reunion of Germany with the eyes of a 9year old boy. At the age of 10 years I started playing keyboard, educated by one of the most versatile musicians, Rolf Köditz(R.I.P.) who teached me how to make music and not only how to play.
Creator 4.0, the 4-track mod-file editor, my personal computer and my tape deck were used for simple songs since 1994. In 1996 i saved some money to buy a motor bike but when my parents came back from London I saw some turntable sets in a music magazine. That was the time when the 15year old DJ A-Trak won the DMC Championships. The SL-1210 MK II stepped into my life!
I decided to spend all my money for a pair of this turntables. Why to have a motor bike instead of having wheels of steel? My spare time was now filled with cutting, mixing and skratching.
During that time some people founded the HipHop Club in Eilenburg, a place for young people to meet and enjoy music. The club was located in an old army base and gave the best possibilities to arrange some jams and concerts. We made this place famous for HipHop in Middle-Germany. And one day I stepped out of my basement to begin my professional career in 1999 as a resident HipHop DJ in the Moritzbastei Leipzig, Germany.
After meeting wiseveral famous DJ's and my participation in the VESTAX No Tricks Battle 2004 the international door was open for me. The absolue highlight until now was an invitation to Moscow. I was planned as a special guest for the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II in a special place called Nightwolves Bike Center.
The musically influence of my father and my grandfather like Blues and Black Music made me to become -The most many-sided Vinyl Performance DJ in town!
and....
I'm still rockin' the wheels of steel even if they're set on fire!!!
