About Me

Niels Dolieslager started whistling at 4, causing migraine to anyone around. Started playing piano at 8, winning prizes at local music competitions, started singing in public at 11, joined the school choir and a band without a name at 16, played in some orchestras, studied musicology at 18 and conservatory (classical composition and electronic music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag) at 20. Presently performer, composer, composition, music theory and piano teacher, score designer and printer, writer of movie soundtracks and music journalist. He is composer in "Psalmen voor Nu", a project that writes new singable translations of all 149 psalms in the Bible on new melodies.
