AXIS

AXIS was founded in the summer of 2006. The group was formed by Brett Mitchell Taylor, Matt Mersiowsky, and Stefan Hojnacki. They spent their first year working on material and trying to find a singer that met their standards. AXIS entered the recording studio in the fall of 2007 to record a 4 song EP without vocals that would hopefully attract a singer. Finally they were introduced to vocalist Trevor Knauss in the spring of '08. Knauss was a perfect fit for the band! Since then Trevor has recorded vocals for the AXIS demo and has been performing live with the band. AXIS has hit the scene with a tenacious take-no-prisoners style metal show, boasting of a wild Brett Mitchell Taylor drum solo and definetely not skimping on the face-melting solos of guitarist Stefan Hojnacki and Bassist Matt Mersiowsky, along with the remarkable vocal talents of frontman Trevor Knauss.
