About Me

I'm in the Navy, I live in Norfolk/Virgina Beach, VA and I go to school... not sure what else to put here. Hate it when people have those surveys.
People in the world today have this uncanny ability to cruise through life care free. Living a meager existence, content with just getting by. Live life before life lives you...

My Interests

I'm into a lot of things. I use to really be into fitness during the wrestling days but kind of fell out of it, and now I'm back in it. I am a huge movie buff, and would read more if it wasn't for classes.

I'd like to meet:

Clean and sober, cute and cuddly. (theres those blasted penguins)I dislike alcohol in all mannerisms. Jared Leto.

Music:

I hate rap. I hate rap, oh how I hate rap. Its not a race issue, people call me ignorant and assume I'm a bigot when they discover I can't stand it. If people hate country, does that mean they are racist? No. I like Tool, Rascall Flatts, Nickelback, Panic! at the Disco, Trapt, A Perfect Circle, *Some* AFI, Supertones, Ray Scott, Joseph Arthur, Kenny Chesney, some other stuff. And in regards to rap: That inclubs all forms, hip hop, R and B and the such. I think its just awful, fantastically bad. I really like 30 Seconds to Mars

Movies:

I adore the Crow series, the orignal is the best, then I'd have to literally go in order. The Edward Furlong version is... horrid, I guess. They got the concept down, but the details they tore to shreds, not to add the actors didn't know the basis behind as to why it was created. Tsk tsk

I like Nicholas Cage. Adaptation, Lord of War, Weatherman, Windtalkers and his new one, WTC, looks outstanding. I like movies that are plausable, like Gladiator, New World, Troy, King Arthur, stuff like that. Alexander was awful, couldn't get into that one at all.

Television:

Smallville (kid at heart), The Shield, Rescue Me, ER, Family Guy and that sort.

Books:

The Oath (Frank Pereti), Piercing the Darkness, This Present Darkness, the Prophet (Frank Pereti), James O'barr, and currently trying some new books.

Heroes:

God, My twin brother, Travis, ADR, Scorp, HM1 (FMF) Early, ST2 Mathis

Advice!

I think if you give advice, it shouldn't be one sided. Or if you seek advice, make sure all view points are known, and clear. If not, what have you gotten but "selfish" advice?   There are two s...

VA tech

I would like to say that this is a horrible incident, but one that brings a lesson. The Gunman, dude named Cho, sent a package to NBC News HQ, kind of a suicide note. He suggests he was the subject of...

When trouble knocks?

What is trouble to you? What is worth aggrivation, turmoil, grief, frustration, pain? Is it love? How about respect? Revenge, anything that can make you feel like you've obtained some sort of justice...

I'm not scared to fly...

"Life is about the bitter, and the sweet. Because, baby, the sweet isn't as sweet if you don't got the bitter" - Jason Lee from "Vanilla Sky" I'm a pretty laid back person, I joke around (probably too...

Yikes, stripes!

Things I learned from my brief time in the Navy   * Most girls instantly get more vain. If you're a girl and you join the Navy, you immediately get all kinds of attention, therefore they all thin...

With the end of the year (and my sheer boredom) I figured I'd update with a review of my year, one that meant a lot of changes in my life. Starts with the end of 2005. December 14th, 2005 I left Hunti...

Surrender to nothing

It's amazing how the world continues to change, especially the people in it. "The fabric of human nature" as it is put is put to the test everyday and the majority of the people fail. Priorities aren'...

Respect. The common depiction of "respect" is an admiration of someone. I believe people do not hold a great deal of respect, or pride, in themselves, what they do, what they believe in, and what they...
