About Me

Well, I just turned 30! I spent my birthday up on the mountain hunting elk. What a perfect way to spend the day. We recently moved to Salt Lake City, UT from Boise, ID. What a change! There have been a few suprises here, and a few dissapointments, but thats the way it goes. I'm a fairly laid back individual. I'm the quiet guy in the corner that is taking it all in. I dont talk too much, but mean what I say. I grew up in a place where your word is your bond, and just because its 5 or the sun is down doesnt mean the work stops. I will always help my friends out when they need it, unless you call me at 4 a.m. from jail with a D.U.I.....I have a wonderful wife that has put up with me for 8 years, and blessed me with a terrific 3 year old boy, and most recently a 2 month old girl. We also have a 2 year old mutt named Tonka....go figure.

My Interests

My passions are Bow hunting, competitive shooting, snowboaring, snowmobiling, fly fishing, mudding, exploring, backpacking, etc. Im a pretty outdoorsy guy. I love to strap on my pack and just walk to a mountain lake or creek and do some fishing.

Music:

Well I'm a country boy at heart. I enjoy most music that i can understand the lyrics to, but always come back to country. There are two things a country boys mom teaches him early on...first is to ALWAYS open the door for the ladies, and second is how to dance to good music. Movies:

I'm a guy movie kind of guy. My favorite right now is a toss up between Open Range and Shooter. Braveheart, Gladiator, The Patriot, We Were Soilers, Saving Private Ryan, Kingdom of Heaven...you get the picture.

Television:

If the Discovery Channel and the History Channel were the only stations on TV, I wouldn't mind.

I usually only read self help books if I read anything at all. It is a less expensive way to get an education.

Heroes:

My wife is my biggest hero. She puts up with me and all my BS so well. My parents are also my heros. Without them i wouldnt be who i am today. And last, but certainly not least are the men and women that put their lives on the line both at home and abroad for all of us to enjoy the God given freedoms we have. THANK YOU!!!!!
