Blaine here!!!! Let me start by just saying, I'm not gay! LOL, ROTFLM*O!!!! But, seriously, I get that alot, but that's probably because I pay attention to what I wear and especially to what other men wear. So sue me for being "IN-STYLE"!! :)
Whew! Where to start? I am an arts and crafts teacher, and a patron of the theater! Sadly, my psoriasis prevents me from acting, and I must take a behind-the-scenes role.
I volunteer at your local Boys and Girls Clubs, and I use my arts and crafts experience to connect with aspiring young thespians, teaching them how to "emote" (hint: the kids call it "Emo" nowadays!), and develop their personalities.
Nothing is a better analogy for the theater (and life!) than, say, a macrame hanging planter: first the casting (you have to pick the right yarn), then the practicing (learn all those stitches), the EMOTING (this is where you add your personal flair and make it POP!), and finally the presentation (this is the most rewarding part, where you finally get to stand up in front of the public and show them the thing you are so proud of!).
My work always seems to keep me moving from city to city on a pretty frequent basis- ah, the life of a traveling minstrel!
I am also a member of the Mormon Church. My dad had 5 wives when he was called to meet his maker, and all virgins, too (to start with, but not after my dad got through with them)! My moms all used to kid around with me and joke that I wasn't THEIR son, I must belong to one of the other moms.
After dad hung himself outside the Blockbuster to protest R-rated movies, my moms all kind of went their seperate ways. All my brothers and sisters left with them, but there was no more room in any of the cars, and they never did get the chance to tell me which one was my real mom, those rascals...
I credit all this to what has made me stronger, and made me who I am today! I am Blaine!!!!! And ready or not, world, here I come--exploding right in your face with a big fat load of talent, arts and crafts, and personality that just oozes out all over you!! :P
