Some would say that I was born wearing ballet shoes, but in actuality, I didn’t start wearing them until I was 3! You could say that dance and my parents have been the biggest influences in my life. I’ve been in countless dance performances mostly in classical ballet and modern dance in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. I graduated from Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois, and double majored in Dance and Psychology. It was around my senior year at Barat when decided that I wanted to become a school psychologist and help kids. However, it has always been my dream to open a dance studio. Hopefully, some day I will! Then, I can enjoy both of my passions in life!A little over a year ago, I decided to come out of my “dance retirement†and trade my ballet slippers in for 3-inch Latin heels. Currently, I am learning and performing International Latin Dance and teaching Latin dance to students at Chicago Public Schools. My new news is that I was asked to join a Mambo Dance Company. I accepted the offer! I'll keep you all posted on my performane schedule. My first dance performance will be on the 4th of July in Vegas! What a debute!
