Elder Lisa A. Goodwin Brown is a woman of God who has been predestined to be a voice of deliverance. She is bequeathed with many gifts; an anointed singer, teacher, preacher, and administrator. Coupled with these spiritual endowments, Elder Brown is an entrepreneur. This industrious woman is an established realtor, tax preparer, and cosmetologist. Elder Brown has been blessing the Body of Christ for many years. As a psalmist, she mounted the stage with tremendous liturgical voices such as: Michel White and the Westchester Mass Choir, Professor James Hall and Worship and Praise, Pastor Hezekiah Walker and the Love and Fellowship Crusade Choir, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, and many others. Though singing is one of her greatest passions, Elder Brown heeded to the clarion call of God after many years of trying to evade sharing the Word to the masses. The genesis of her exposition of the Word occurred on February 26, 1996 at the Abundant Life A.M.E. Zion Church in Charleston, SC under the leadership of Bishop Brian Moore. Elder Lisa Brown was licensed then ordained a deacon in 1998 by the A.M.E. Zion Denomination. In 2001 she was ordained an Elder in the Lord's church by Bishop Brian Moore, presiding prelate of the Life Center Ministries, Inc. In 2005, after the passing of her grandmother, the Founder and Pastor of Revelation Universal Church, she along with her brother, Pastor Elijah Goodwin, Jr., went to the ministry to assist them in continuing their mission. They were installed in August of 2006 and have been integral in the expansion of the word, praise, worship, and deliverance of that local assembly. Many family members, church congregants, and even strangers have been recipients of the intensity of love in her heart. God has graced her with an incredible ability to reach anyone she comes into contact; children, youth, adults, couples, men and women. Her counsel has provided spiritual, physical, emotional and financial guidance. This kind of reach accentuates the awesomeness of this ministry gift. Elder Brown now resides in Charleston, SC with her husband Mr. Keith Brown. She is the founder of Lisa A. G. Brown Ministries, Girl Power Ministries, (a ministry that empowers and ministers to girls ages 13-30), and co-founder of CareN4U International, Inc. CareN4U is an outreach ministry that caters in the supporting of abused and neglected children, senior citizens, and assisting single parents to increase their quality of life. In the words of one of the old Christian songs, Elder Brown’s work and the life she live speaks for her. Today an ancient question is still asked, “Is there a Word from the Lord?†As with then, the answer is yes in the prophetic voice of one who encourages men and women to return to the purity of love, holiness and reverence for God.
