1) There is more to the mind than what you think. This statement is ambiguous and I encourage people to look at it in every way possible. but most importantly realize that becoming aware of your own thinking will open up doors to happiness. Once we discover our own consciousness and can overcome our egos, JUST WAIT! IT'LL BE AMAZING! You'll understand your Self and how the world forms opinions and ideals based off of identifications and forms 2) Satre did something that most don't have the courage to which is challenge what has already been said. He inadvertently challenged Descartes' quotation of existence, "I think therefore I am." Satre replied 300 years later with, "The consciousness that says 'I am' is not the consciousness that thinks." 3) Too often do people trust in our leaders, our teachers, our textbooks and don't form their own ideas. Why not? You just might be right! None of our US presidents have been known to have super powers or even more importantly a level of consciousness that allowed them to look deeper into worldly things and be considered "enlightened." We must stop thinking about our own thinking and dig a little deeper. 4) We are all one and we all should express our ideas openly and only trust ourselves. Others must gain our trust.
5) Things that have never been described before now have names! It makes conversation easy! - True Stories
6) I wonder, "how can we accpet an intuitive commonsense view of ourselves as conscious, FREE, rational agents in a universe that SCIENCE tells us consists of mindless physical particles?" The battle of rationality and emotionality continues within my Self. Understanding our human uniqueness comes from knowing that we are the only beings that can feel emotion and express it so interactively whether it be with words, music/art, movement etc. And with such capabilities we should appreciate others to the highest degree, while not being inconsiderate of their feelings. Because even if they are not being expressed in a noticeable manner, I believe they (emotions) exist in everyone. It's just a matter of knowing and understanding how to express them.
I studied Psychology because I want to hopefully dispel the illusion that is caused by the specious collision of truths in this world. I can understand, feel, and develop a common interest within people somewhat more easily than others. 7) I currently live in an area that is all too familiar to me and this seems to be somewhat more negative than positive. This is because although I appreciate stability and familiarity in the sense that one can develop a stronger sense of understanding within these realms, I believe so strongly in change, and change for the better. Most importantly, change in environment because we are a f*ing product of it no matter what anyone tries to tell me otherwise.

I've recently received some messages, seemingly in desperation, for the complete set of lyrics or the title of this song. The following is a very special song to me entitled, Beachy Head by the artist Bonobo. Bonobo should be on everyone's mental playlist at least once a day. Very calming, sexy, and moving...I think. Much love - abby
