Bozone

“I started playing the bass because the bass player is the backbone of the band. I found that it is time to step up and project the strength of the bass and of the person who is behind it. It took some time for me to realize the power that I have in myself and in the bass. I found that it is nothing to be afraid of.”-Bozone is the solo project from long time Bay Area musician Bo Freeman, who has been seen in the past recording and performing with acts such as Don Cherry, Bill Summers, The Freaky Executives, Coke Escovedo, Strictly Roots, The Funkamaughts, The M8trix, and Peter Apfelbaum and the Hieroglyphics Ensemble, amoung others. Here are some demo projects made at home; expect to hear and see more of the band in the near future.
