Dave 54 is one of Sydney’s finest SOULFUL HOUSE Dj’s ( but his talents are not just wasted on the one style of music and the versatility is what makes him up to date) . Dave has been Djing since the end of 1999 where he started meagrely at the Rattle Snake Bar/grill in Neutral Bay, and then as his skills progressed he was given his first proper gig at the Union Hotel in Nth Sydney playing solid bar grooves.
Then late in 2000 he was given his first major gig at one of sydney’s biggest and well known bars’ Cargo Bar/Lounge in cockle bay Darling Harbour , covering for fellow Dj and friend Aaron Achurch. Cargo loved his style and music and 54 has been a resident ever since playing up and downstairs from Thursdays to Sundays. 54 is also now a resident at Sydney’s newest hot spot the Trademark (Hush)Argyle, Cabana Bar/lounge ,Colombian , Bungalow8 , Cargo , Sugarmill/Kitkaboodle and had residences at numerous other bars/clubs such as the Eastern, Hugo's lounge, Cherri Jam, Fringe Bar , Burdekin , le panic , Tonic , Watershed , YU ,TANK ,Industry, ZETA bar, Plantation-Empire , Sapphire Suite, Nth Woolongong Hotel, HOME – The Terrace,Coogee Palace to name a few....
Dave is a Resident at Sydney’s biggest and regular soulful house night S.H.E ( Soulful House Experience ) starting almost 3 years ago and run by well established soulful house DJ and friend Graham Cordery, as a Resident and supporting Dj for this night boasts the cream of U.K’s and USA’s funkiest soulful Dj’s.
