FAILURE BY DESIGN

"Failure By Design" is a hybrid, elemental entity that materialized itself after the abduction from Earth in October of 2006. It contains the raw energy of Mike Smoot and Arc Angel both formerly of Resen and Low-X out of Springfield Missouri, and Chris Coats and J.T Chinn both formerly of Junkhead hailing from West Plains Missouri. Both bands were tearing it up in their hometowns before the FBD hell child was born. They have shared the stage with such national acts as Sepultura, Soulfly, Phunk Junkies, Primer 55, Jimbo Matthes, Voivod, Dope, and many more. In Failure By Design, the influences noticed right away are as follows: Pantera, Lynard Skynard, Alice In Chains, Acid Bath, Black Label Society, Corrosion Of Conformity, and Black Sabbath. FBD has a very unique live sound and is rapidly gaining a reputation as being an extremely energetic live band. There is a strong sence of blues that stands out in their original material which is blended into " Rock-Metal Fusion" perfection. In the addition of Powerful Screams, melodic vocals, Outstanding Rhythms, and intense lyrics, FBD can and will captivate any audience. Failure By Design recorded a four song ep in Branson Missouri this past winter, which was released in April, and are doing whatever it takes to push their music to the top by being armed with pro-gear, over a decade of live music performances, and an extreme passion for music. After returning from the tour of N.O.L.A. to promote the demo, F.B.D plans to record a full length album at Joey Z's Method of Groove studio in Brooklyn New York this fall.
