Rootsrunna Sound

Rootsrunna Sound was founded in August 2005 by Jahlive and Banshee. In December 2005 Doctah and Drednat joined the sound. The current formation “Rootsrunna Sound” consists of Jahlive, Doktah, Drednat, Banshee and Shotta.
2006 the Soundsystem played at partys in Lower Austria, Styria, Carinthia, Vienna and Burgenland. In March 2007 Rootsrunna Sound organised their first party “100% Dynamite”, which was a big success.
The Sound presented their first festival, called “More fire festival”, together with Boomarang Sound in july 2007.
The festival took place in Tulln, near Vienna, and music was played on three floors from Reggae, Dancehall to Drum&Bass.
Since September 2007 Rootsrunna Sound are resident at a club called “Warehouse” (www.w-house.at) in St. Pölten with a capacity of 500 people. Apart from that the soundsystem support Boomarang Sound in arranging Reggae-Parties all over Lower Austria.
Rootsrunna sound is a rising star and for sure you will soon hear more from them.
