Bio of my dying summer
My Dying Summer from Stuttgart was founded in spring of 2004, when Markus, Andi P., Andi N., Samuele and Chrissi found each other - each of the guys, with many band experiences in their back.
Aggressive guitar riffing, beautiful melodies and melancholy harmonies come together in their music, building a basement for vehement screaming breakdowns and emotional melodic singing. Along with the different influences each member of the band brings with it, they created their own sound somewhere between emocore and post-hardcore.
Due to the live-experience with numerous bands like for example
SICK OF IT ALL (usa), AMEN (usa), STRETCH ARM STRONG (usa), TRIBUTE TO NOTHING (uk), DAYS IN GRIEF (ger), RAZOR CRUSADE (nl), CAPRICORN (ger), the ORDINARY ME (ger) ...and many more
My Dying Summer learned to transfer the intensity of their songs to the audience and comes up with a dynamic and energy loaded performance on stage. With that skills they handled it to satisfy and enheaten even kind of "difficult" audiences.
In december 2004 My Dying Summer finished the recordings of their first three song promo cd, which was recorded, mixed and mastered near Cologne, by Florian Dreher (Capricorn). Since February 2005 the cd has been available at shows and the band got a great feedback on the cd. Due to this, the guys got their first radio airplay on several stations with all of those three songs.
At the moment the band is about to finish the recording of the second promo-cd with 3 of the newest songs on it.
Tours are in planning phase.
