Uma was born in a cattery in southern california. Soon after, she and her cousin, Dude, were adopted by a young couple. But on a very tragic day about one month later, Dude was lost to a very rare and deadly disease. It was a heartbreaking thing for Uma to experience at such a young age, but in the end, it only brought her closer to her owners. Let me rephrase that....Her landlords. Uma would never let anyone or anything "own" her. She is a strong, fast paced independent who is determined to make this world a better place. When interviewed earlier this week about her projections on the current elections, she predicted a Democratic victory, due to numerous mistakes in the Republican party. But being an Independent, she thinks both parties will have a lot to make up for in the upcoming presidential election.
