Irish and Scottish heritage. I Love travelling above all things, especially by train or boat when possible. I spend a lot of time in London and Vancouver. My favourite city in the world is Paris and I go there as often as possible. I owned and ran my own business which I loved, but after 2 years of working over 100 hours a week, I packed up and spent a long time travelling around North America. I met some wonderful people and saw some amazing things. I will never forget seeing my first bald eagle, the northern lights, the snow on the Canadian Rocky mountains or the beaches and Jacaranda in California.
I love history and am fascinated by things from the past, especially the 19th century. I collect antiques, especially Victorian books, daguerreotype photographs and antique and vintage clothing. I read at every opportunity. I love art, my absolute favourite artists are Bouguereau and J.W. Waterhouse. I am also a huge fan of Georgia O'Keeffe, John Collier and Mark Rydens work, and I adore Native American art. I love visiting art galleries, museums and gorgeous old buildings around the world. I have very eclectic taste, I love many things from various points in history, different genres and many countries. I am passionate about wildlife and conservation. I recently returned to University part-time to study Marine Biology and Mammal Ecology, and I'm loving every second of it!
I'm passionate about life ... apathy is not something I understand. I am fascinated by other countries and cultures. I love exploring and learning, I find it hard to stand still.
