And finally, for fun, here's my 1st acting reel- it's 5 yrs old and I've done a lot of new stuff since then, but it's the original, and I still love it! I hope you enjoy it too. :)-------------------------------------------------------
I was born in Tehran, moved to the US when I was 7. I love traveling, and have been fortunate enough to do so domestically and internationally. I have an analytical view of the world, and I get that the only 2 things on earth that are black and white are in fact, black and white themselves.I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an executive MS in Management of Technology (a fancy MBA) from Carlson at UMN. I currently hold an executive position at a Fortune 50 corporation.I was a concert violinist for several years in my teens and early 20's. In my late 20's, I decided to apply my passion for performance to acting.In 2002, I moved to LA from Minneapolis. There, I produced and sold my 1st feature film, Fronterz, with some nice star power in it. (www.fronterz.com). You can buy, rent it, or Netflix it. If you do, tell me what you think!Subsequently, within the entertainment industry, I began focusing on acting, landed a terrific manager, got into the elusive Screen Actor's Guild (SAG), and began landing modest film and TV credits while maintaining my full-time, heavy load job.Then in late 2006, I was given an amazing opportunity by TV and film legend, Parviz Kardan, to host and produce a live, internationally televised game show. My show airs every Sunday from 1:00PM-2:30PM Pacific Time on Andisheh TV. If you don't have satellite television, you can watch it live on their web site www.andisheh.tv.
