Mike Fout & the Barons

About Me

The Blues has taken over. I blast out slide blues as my interpretations of my own blues. Mixing Jazz, Blues, Rum, Bourbon, PBR, Personal trouble, and an American upbringing, You'll feel what I have to say whether you hear it or not. Listen to my shitty recordings so you can appreciate the difference when i finish a decent recording. Come to my shows, so you can hear it how its meant to be heard -- Live. It always sounds better live, and I hardly ever play anything the same way everytime, so every show is your own little piece of Mike Fout history. Whether I'm drunk in a bar cussing into the microphone, or getting over caffeinated at a coffee house, it's always a good time.
There will be a new Page soon reflecting the changes I am making to the sound, and it be devoted soley to the effort of promoting the BAND: MF & the Barons. We are focussing on our Dynamic, and our sound, and our image come into its own. The music swings in different sonic directions as we explore influences from Classic Country, Pre-War Blues, Modern Mississippi Hill Country Blues, Whisky, Pain, Death, Murder, Love, Soul, Funk, and whatever else it takes to make the music in my body flow out through my voice and my Guitar. Recordings and a New Album are in the works. It will be posted as soon as possible. Until then, experience it LIVE.
