I'm a Special Education major at the University of Nebraska and I'm loving every minute of it! You can't imagine how happy it makes me to be working with exceptional children. The smile on their faces everyday just melts my heart!
This is my favorite poem and it sums up why I love teaching special ed.
Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids who don't always get A's,
The kids who have ears twice the size of their peers',

It's their difference that makes them uniqueI have one of the best roommates ever! We have so much fun together...its wierd that we lived together before and took a year break and finally realized that we cant live without each other...We just compliment each others' quirks! I work at ColdStone creamery...Im a manager...so basically I tell everyone what they need to be doing. Its perfect! I'm really big on family. With out them I would be nothing and with them I have everything...that goes for friends too! My friends are great and I dont know what I would do with out them. They are my second family...I cherish everyone of them with all my heart. Being nine hours away from home is hard to do and with my closest friends I have made it through everything...with and with out tears...I'm sad that I don't talk to anyone from back home that much but I'm tryin yall know I love ya! Lets see what else...Talk Sex with Sue is my favorite show. I find it amussing watching an old women talk about sex. I sometimes secretly wish she was my granny because she can say "dirty" words without blushing! I just really like to have fun. A few things that everyone should know about me...1)Like I said before my family and friends play a huge roll in my life...2) I am very passionate about what I do...3)This sounds completely lame and I dont really care...I LOVE OSTRICHES! they are ugly and I feel ugly things need to be loved too! 4) I dont change who I am for anybody, either you like me for me or you dont enough said...5)I will try most everything once...twice if I like it..and finally...6) I try to live my life off one quote...Live well, Laugh often, Love much...I think it can explain itself but if you need a little help let me know I will gladly tell help you out!
