Dr. Mowinckels Akuttmottak is by far the largest and most comprehensive Kaizers Orchestra fan site, and, one of the best fan sites on the web in general. It was started in 2002 during Kaizers Orchestra one-year long tour with their debut album Ompa til du dør, and has kept growing through their success with the succeeding records Evig pint and Maestro. Today the site counts nearly 3000 members, and has the status of Official Kaizers Orchestra Fan Club.
The fan site has not only been praised by Kaizers Orchestra themselves, but also the general music business and public. In 2006, the mastermind behind the site, Henning Klokkeråsen, won an Alarmpris (Norwegian Grammy Award) for his tireless efforts in running the site, which is the meeting place for Kaizer fans worldwide.
