People say I'm funny (they laugh at me, not with me). Or noisy. And chirpy. But beneath that crazy exterior is just a girl who's so humbled by God's grace. Where would I be today if it wasn't for Jesus? I really wouldn't know. I've tried searching for happiness in the things of this world but nothing in this world could satisfy you the way only God's love can. I am nothing without my God. When I was broken and had nothing left to hold on to, God was there picking up the pieces. He was always there. Watching me, loving me, carrying me. And there I was wondering how I made it through. You are never alone. God is there, reaching out His hands to you, asking you to trust in Him. All you have to do is let Him in and you will be changed. When you experience His unfailing love and amazing grace, you will never be the same again. He brings beauty in the broken. I want to use what the enemy intended to destroy for the glory of God.
My life is for the glory of my King.
Lily is five foot two. Lily is awesome. Lily's friends have also pointed out that she is indeed very humble. That's all you need to know for now :)
Oh, in case you haven't noticed.. Lily likes speaking in the third person.
P/S: Lily has the BESTEST leaders and friends in the whole wide flippin' world. So if you're not her friend yet, boy you sure have lots of catching up to do!
Two stuffed animals were talking to each other in a playroom:
"What is real?" asked the Rabbit one day. "Does it mean having things that buzz inside and a stick-out handle?"
"Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you when a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but really loves you, then you become real."
"Does it hurt?" asked the Rabbit.
"Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. "When you are real you don't mind being hurt."
"Does it happen all at once like being wound up?" he asked, "or bit by bit?"
"It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't often happen to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or have to be carefully kept. Generally by the time you are real, most of your hair has been loved off, your eyes drop out, and you get loose in the joints, and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand." :)
